About Us

A Collective Voice for Change

Welcome to the “Nothing About Us, Without Us!” conference, a groundbreaking event dedicated to shedding light on the hidden scars of child psychological abuse related to parental alienation (CPAPA). We are a diverse group of adult survivors, united by our shared experiences and driven by a common mission: to raise awareness, educate, and advocate for the protection and healing of children caught in the crossfire of high-conflict divorces and separations.

Our Mission

Our mission is to amplify the voices of adult survivors, provide a platform for sharing our stories, and advocate for systemic change. We aim to challenge outdated paradigms, foster unity among survivors, and inspire action to better support children and families affected by this form of abuse.

Our Vision

We envision a world where the voices of adult survivors of CPAPA are heard, valued, and lead the charge in transforming mental health and legal systems to prioritize the well-being of children. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create a safer, more empathetic world for future generations.

Meet Our Team

Our speaker list consists of survivors who have turned their pain into power. They include CEO’s and Founders, award-winning professionals, Mental Health Practitioners, advocates, change makers, authors, researchers, and global influencers, who are dedicated to making a difference. Each member brings a unique perspective and set of skills to our mission, united by a common goal: to ensure that no child has to endure the pain we have experienced.

Why We Are Unique

Unlike other conferences, our event features only speakers who have lived through the trauma of child psychological abuse related to parental alienation. With over 700 years of combined experience, we offer unparalleled insights and firsthand knowledge that no external expert can match. Our speakers include survivors who have become leading advocates, researchers, and professionals in various fields, all committed to bringing awareness and change to this critical issue.

Our Goals

  • Amplify Voices: Provide a platform exclusively for adult survivors to share their stories and insights.
  • Educate and Advocate: Inform mental health professionals, legal experts, educators, law enforcement, and the public about the profound impacts of CPAPA.
  • Foster Unity: Unite survivors globally to create a strong, collective voice against child psychological abuse and parental alienation.
  • Promote Change: Challenge outdated paradigms and advocate for practical, empathetic solutions that prioritize children’s well-being.
  • Inspire Action: Motivate stakeholders to listen, learn, and adapt their approaches to better support children caught in high-conflict divorces and separations.

Our Story

Over the years, I as well as others, have scrutinized the speaker lineups for conferences on parental alienation, only to find that voices like ours were absent. Despite numerous events discussing parental alienation and child protection, the lived experiences of adult survivors were often overlooked. This realization led me to the creation of the “Nothing About Us, Without Us!” (NAUWOU) conference. I wanted to ensure that our stories are heard, our insights valued, and our presence felt in the conversations shaping the future of child protection.
